Content Day by zflys
When strategy meets the right lens.
One day of shooting by the sea turns into four months of content.
Together with videographer and photographer Alexander Stummer, we put our client in the right light.

At zflys, we believe the best results happen when the right people work together.
While we focus on strategy, communication, and digital growth, there are projects that call for additional expertise.
For example, in photo and video production.
That’s why we regularly collaborate with selected freelancers who bring their own specialization and perspective into our projects.

For our project with Smartbuoy, we collaborated with Alexander Stummer, founder of Stummer Production, to create the first photo and video material for the product. We asked him a few questions about the collaboration and the project.
The person behind the camera
Alexander Stummer is the founder of Stummer Production:
“I’m Alexander Stummer, founder of Stummer Production, specializing in content creation. I produce all kinds of photos and videos for companies.”
For the Smartbuoy project, Alex was responsible for the entire production of the visual content.
“The client didn’t have any photos or videos of their product yet, and my job was to change that.”
The plan behind the camera:
- zflys handles the communication analysis and then deliberately outlines the most effective recommendations for action.
- If a recommendation involves content—website, social media, blogs, success stories, and so on—we develop a content plan and, together with our experts (in this case, Alex), bring the media to life as needed.
- After the shoot day, the client’s “effort” is essentially done—zflys and Stummer Production take care of everything else.

A project between creativity and the sea
The adventure itself unfolded against a special backdrop: boats, buoys, and the open sea. And all of it in Croatia! Definitely not your typical workplace—but certainly one of the best.
This setting was exactly what made the project especially appealing to Alex.
“The project itself really appealed to me because it revolved around boats and buoys. I find that subject incredibly exciting—and creatively, there are no limits.”
And of course, the whole thing came with a small added bonus.
“If you get the chance to spend a few days by the sea in winter, you don’t exactly say no.”
Sometimes inspiration arrives on a breath of sea air.
Collaboration on equal footing
For us, collaboration means more than just dividing tasks. It’s about developing solutions together.
Alex describes the collaboration as clearly structured while also being very enjoyable.
“We knew from the start how and where the production would take place. I really enjoyed the conversations.”
He particularly appreciated the open communication within the team.
“What I appreciated most was that you could talk about anything—that’s not something you can take for granted.”
It’s exactly this openness that makes creative projects easier—and ensures that everyone involved can bring their best to the table.
A creative reset
Creative work often thrives on shifting perspective—sometimes quite literally.
For Alex, the trip to the sea in the middle of winter was exactly that kind of moment.
“For me, it felt like a kind of reset. Heading south to the sea in the middle of winter took me to a whole new creative level.”
And his personal highlight?
“My personal highlight was getting to track the boat with my drone and capture some truly stunning footage.”
Results you can be proud of
The result of the collaboration was a complete visual foundation for Smartbuoy: photos and videos that showcase the product in action for the first time.
For Alex, one thing was very important: the feedback after the project.
“I’m especially proud of the successful shots—and of the positive feedback I received for them.”
And that’s exactly our goal when collaborating with external creatives: results that everyone involved can truly stand behind.

We work with freelancers who share our standards for quality, communication, and reliability. Trust and strong collaboration matter just as much as professional expertise.
What does that mean for clients?
